Florida ranks #3 in the nation for human trafficking, and Tampa Bay ranks #7, highlighting the urgent need in our community. Yet, there are only 97 safe beds available across the entire state—and Created Women provides 31 of those beds, helping to meet a critical gap for survivors.
Created Women exists to meet this need.
Through four residential homes across three counties, we provide more than shelter—we offer a pathway to healing, stability, and independence for women rebuilding their lives after exploitation.
In 2025, our Residential Program provided safe housing to 68 women and delivered 5,544 nights of shelter and care, with 100% of graduates not returning to “the life.” Through our Non-Residential Program, 390 women visited the Drop-In Center a total of 5,173 times to access critical resources and support.
